Who is 1300 Insurance?

1300 Insurance is an Australian owned company which provides a range of competitively priced general insurance product lines. Underwritten by some of the biggest and best in the business, our aim is to provide simple and secure, easy to find and easy to use insurance solutions for the everyday person.

Why are your telephone conversations recorded?

Telephone calls are recorded for a number of reasons. This is to allow you to avoid all the paperwork you might otherwise encounter. It allows you to arrange the insurance immediately over the phone without delay and helps to keep an accurate record of the information you submitted when you arranged your insurance. It also allows the insurer to manage the claims process and to undertake service quality assessments which helps to ensure the call centre operators are focussing on delivering you the best possible customer service.

Is your call centre in Australia?

Yes. As a 1300 Insurance customer you will be pleased to know that you'll be assisted by our friendly contact centre staff in a state-of-the-art call centre facility located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, or Sydney Australia.
