Accident Income Protection

Ezicover Accident Income pays a monthly benefit if you are unable to work due to accidental injury.

We will pay you a benefit for each month that you are unable to work in your usual occupation due to accidental injury.

The Accident income benefit is designed to cover some or all of your monthly expenses; if you are unable to work for 30 consecutive days, we will pay a proportion of the Accident income benefit every 15 days until you are able to return to work, for up to 12 months.

Policy Exclusions

We will not pay a benefit if your Sickness or Injury occurs as a direct or indirect result of:

  • a Mental Disorder
  • an intentional self-inflicted act
  • attempted suicide
  • uncomplicated pregnancy or childbirth (including participation in an IVF or similar program, normal discomforts such as morning sickness, backache, varicose veins, ankle swelling or bladder problems, giving birth, miscarrying or having an abortion), or
  • an act of war (whether declared or not).

Prior to the commencement of your policy you will be advised of any other exclusions that result from the personal assessment of your application.
